West Jet Rules the Skys When It Comes to Toddler Vomit

Monday, May 16, 2005
The West Jet crew on my plane ride home from Edmonton was terrific. They really came to the rescue of the unfortunate parents whose toddler threw up on the flight, cheerfully providing a steady flow of napkins and garbage bags until the mess had been brought under control. Meanwhile, one of the other crew members spritzed the air in the cabin to try to keep the essence du vomit from becoming too unpleasant. Good thing because the businessman beside me starting gagging at the first wiff of toddler vomit. (I guess he was either kid-less or hadn't volunteered for Vomit Patrol on very many occasions while his kids were growing up.)
