Canadian Moms in Other Time Zones

You may want to tune into Outfront if you can still catch it in your timezone. It was beautifully done. Kudos to singer/songwriter Heather McLeod for sharing the story of how her song "Basket of Roses" came to be.

Six years ago, musician Heather McLeod felt a song nagging at her heels - something that just wouldn't go away. When she sat down to write it, what emerged was something that both confused and frightened her. It was a song about the love that a mother can give to a child who has passed away. Heather didn't know where this song had come from. And then a few years later she gave birth to her first child, Ella Rose. Hear “Basket of Roses” on Outfront, tonight.
